Why Breathwork?
You may ask yourself - Why should I bother about breathwork? Here is why - according to me.
In general I think most of us take our breathing for granted but do we really use our full potential? Our breath is intimately connected to our autonomic nervous system which steers the connection between all our body parts. Fortunately the breathing happens automatically. But by taking a more conscious control over it you can say that you get like a remote control to your nervous system. By that you can then more deliberately, depending on your needs for the moment, impact your body and mind in the direction you desire. Whether you for example need to relax and recover or if you need to become more alert and focused.
Due to breathwork gaining more popularity in our modern society there are also more and more scientific research done on breathwork which I think is great.
With that said I can assure you that breathwork is a powerful and easy to access tool. A tool that can support you handling your daily challenges and by that find more balance and wellbeing in your life.
